ON THE SNOW
Sauze christened ski in Italy, in fact at the beginning of the 1900s the first ski races were organized here.
400km of ski slopes, a cable car, 3 gondolas, 34 chairlifts and numerous other lifts will lead you towards Pian della Rocca, Sportinia or on to Rocce Nere and the crest of Col Basset.

BY BYCICLE
Slopes to tackle through the narrowest of paths and the sharpest of bends, the colours, the breathtaking scenery, fragrances to savour: every one of your senses will be involved during your conquest of the Susa Valley mountains. You can follow the "Sentiero dei Franchi", climbing back towards Parco del Gran Bosco, or the famous mountain bike trail known as the "Via dei Saraceni".

ON FOOT:
In an abundance of Alpine landscapes, nature parks, winter and summer walks, excursions on foot are an invitation to discover the other side of the Sauze d'Oulx mountains, a complex and fascinating environment which can offer pleasant surprises in all seasons. The footpaths, suitable for all classes of walker, lead into the Gran Bosco Regional Park.

ON HORSEBACK
Both beginners and the most expert of riders can undertake excursions on horseback in the "mountains of the sun", along the footpaths and military roads, through thick forests and wonderful scenery.

LA VIA FRANCIGENA
This area is steeped in history and tradition as these "Olympic" mountains have always provided a meeting point for different cultures, customs and peoples. The Via Francigena gives us the opportunity to retread the paths followed by medieval travellers and, surrounded by the majesty of Moncenisio, the "Sacra di San Michele", as well the Fort of Exilles.
